Dev R. Gupta MD is Chief of Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology and THe University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Award from the American Heart Association for his work in developing programs for the treatment of stroke. Under the leadership of Dr. Gupta, the Stroke Treatment Program at Hackensack University Medical Center was a major component of the efforts that led to the Pursuit of Perfection Award. In a nationwide competition, only 10 hospitals across the country were selected to receive this prestigious award, which includes a major research grant. Dr. Gupta served as Chief of Neurology at Pascack Valley Hospital for seven years and was full time Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at New York Medical College before entering private practice. He has been an attending physician at Holy Name Hospital for more than 20 years. Dr. Gupta graduated from Government Medical College in India and was an Instuctor in Medicine at Punjab University before coming to the United States for resdency in Neurology. Dr. Gupta is Board Cerified in Neurology and has been appointed a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He is one of the few neurologists in New Jersey who is also Board Certified in Stroke and Vascular Neurology. He is married to Dr.Pushba Gupta, a pathologist, and has 3 daughters. One of his daughters is a New York City attorney and the other two are physicians.

Damon M. Fellman MD is currently Associate Chief of Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center. He had been Director of Neurology at Holy Name Hospital for twelve years and Chief of Pediatric Neurology at Hackensack University Medical Center for thirteen years. Since 1978 Dr. Fellman has been an instructor in Neurology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Fellman is a Board Certified Neurologist and sees both adult and children. He is a longtime member of the Professional Advisory Board of the NJ Epilepsy Foundation and has been the Secretary of the NJ Child Neurology Society since it was established. Dr. Fellman has served on the Medical Board at Hackensack University Medical Center and the Medical Executive Committee at Holy Name Hospital. He has served as consultant in Pediatric Neurology to more than 50 school systems in northern NJ. Dr. Fellman has been selected for NJ Best Doctors and Patients Choice Awards.
Dr. Fellman did his Neurology residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and Fellowship in Neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Fellman served as a Major in the US Army and was Director of Neurology at Fort Gordon Army Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Fellman is one of the few neurologists in New Jersey who is also Board Certified in Stroke and Vascular Neurology and Board Certified irsn Headache Medicine.
Dr. Fellman is married to Leslie Nagy, MD, a psychiatrist, and has 2 grown children, an attorney and physician who is in fellowship training for child psychiatry. His favorite recreational activities include reading novels and other books, visiting libraries, and day or weekend trips with his wife to New York City and other areas of the United States.

Mario Vukic MD is a Board Certified Neurologist and sees primarily adult patients with a specific interest in neuromuscular disease. His interest in neurology began while an undergraduate in New York University. While there he spent three years performing research on visual perception at the Center for Neural Science. He then went on to obtain his medical doctorate from the State University of Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Vukic completed his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, and his residency in Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He was chief resident in his last year. His most recent training was completed at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Vukic joined the Hackensack Neurology Group in July, 2003. After joining he took an active role in shaping the future of Neurology at Hackensack Medical Center by helping develop the Stroke Center. In addition to Hackensack University Medical Center he also has a clinical affiliation with Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Michael P Silverstein, MD is a board certified Neurologist with a special interest in epilepsy. His fascination with the neurosciences at Brandeis Universiy led him to study at Robert Wood Johnso Medical School. He completed his Neurology residency at Rush University in Chicago, IL, where he developed a passion for treating patients with a broad range of neurological disorders.
After completion of his neurology residency, Dr. Silverstein completed a fellowship at the New York University Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, where he was at the forefront of the medical and surgical approaches for the diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders.

Anthony Marquinez, MD is a board certified adult neurologist with special interest in neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Marquinez completed his medical internship at the Harlem Hospital, an affiliate of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Thereafter, he pursued and completed his three years of Neurology residency at the Neurological Institute at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. After completing another two years of fellowship training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, one year in neuromuscular disease/ electrophysiology (EMG and nerve conduction studies) and another year in movement disorder/ motor physiology, he joined the Hackensack Neurology Group in 2000. Dr. Marquinez is also trained in the use of botulinum toxin (Botox) for hemifacial spasms, cervical dystonia, spasticity and headaches. Dr. Marquinez is licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey and he has admitting privileges at Hackensack Medical Center and Holy Name Hospital.

John F. Nogueira MD is a Board Certified Neurologist who has had an in depth experience with a broad range of neurological problems. Dr. Nogueira graduated from Cornell University where he was inducted into the Golden Key Honor Society. He obtained his MD degree at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Nogueira completed his internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
During his residency, Dr. Nogueira was appointed Chief Resident. He then completed a Fellowship in Electromyography (EMG) and Neuromuscular Disease at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Nogueira's interests in neurological disorders includes neuromuscular disorders, EMG, stroke, Parkinsons Disease, MS and seizures. He is on the staff at Hackensack University Medical Center and Holy Name Hospital.
Dr. Nogueira is fluent in conversational Italian, having spent a year as Visiting Neurologist in Milan.
Dr. Nogueira is married to Alison Manges Nogueira, a Ph.D candidate in Art History at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.

Subasini Dash MD was recruited to Hackensack University Medical Center to serve as Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center. HUMC is now ranked by Healthgrades #1 in New Jersey for Neurosciences , which includes care of stroke patients. Prior to her appointment at HUMC, Dr. Dash had been Acting Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School University Hospital Comprehensive Stroke Center. Throughout her career, Dr. Dash has been an active participant in stroke research and care. She has enjoyed her role in teaching medical students and neurology trainees about stroke and other neurological disorders.
Dr. Dash completed her Neurology Residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and then remained at the medical school for fellowhship training in stroke. She then served on the teaching staff of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and was selected to direct the Stroke Service.
Dr. Dash is Board Certified in Neurology. She is also Board Certified in Stroke and Vascular Neurology. Dr. Dash has a particular interest in the management of difficult clinical problems in stroke, stroke prevention and intensive care neurology.
